What is the Social-Emotional Learning in Arts Education?

Social-Emotional Learning in Art Education works to help incorporate SEL techniques into the arts to better provide implicit and explicit social emotional learning skills and enhance intentional application of teaching and learning strategies in the arts. Arts Education and Social and Emotional Learning Frameworks were created by a group of experts and led by Dr. Maurice Elias (SEL4NJ) and previously lead by Bob Morrison (Arts Ed NJ).

The goal of the project is to help schools incorporate social emotional learning skills into Arts classrooms, as well as provide various resources, such as class frameworks that target all 5 core competencies!
