Simon Daniel

Assistant Director for Data Analysis

Simon Daniel is the Assistant Director for Data Analysis at the SECD Lab. He is a recent graduate of Rutgers University where he earned his B.A. in Psychology and Cognitive Science and an undergraduate certificate in Data Science. He is currently a Ph.D. student in the Clinical and School Psychology program at the University of Virginia’s School of Education and Human Development. Broadly, his research interests lie at the intersection of prevention science, policy, and advocacy. He is interested in the implementation and evaluation of preventative school-based programs, school mental health, and using research outcomes to inform public policy.

Outside the lab you can find me: searching for good pizza joints, brushing up on my programming skills, and spending time with friends and family.
