Many Languages, One World is an contest and Youth Forum. The winners of the contest, gather at the UN headquarters in New York to give a presentation about Global Development.
These students were selected based on essays they wrote about being a bilingual or multilingual, and how it helps them become global citizens.
The Kosmos Journal for Global Transformation defines a global citizen as "someone who identifies with being part of an emerging world community and whose actions contribute to building this community's values and practices.”
